If the person you’re talking to is an unbeliever, they have no foundation to make any moral or logical claims in the first place. If you ever feel stuck, always come back to that.
Example: An atheist says “I don’t believe in your God because he’s evil and committed genocide. The proper reply to him would be “What do you mean by evil? There is no good or evil on your worldview”
There is never a good reason to murder someone. No matter how many objections seem to come up, you can always end the claim with “…so therefore we should kill these children?”. It will always sound ridiculous.
These objections are meant to take one problem in another area of life and use it to justify killing a baby.
